About Course

Coursework is typically centered on office administration skills, technology, medical terminology and patient care skills. Courses revolve around medical terminology, lab work and ethical or administrative issues. Entry requirements

The entry requirement into Public Health Technology is four credit passes in relevant courses in SSCE/WASCE/ GCE “O” level at not more than two sittings.

These include:

  • Biology/Health science
  • One subject chosen from Chemistry, Food and Nutrition, Physics and Geography.
  • Two subject chosen from any of Economics, Account, Commerce, Agricultural Science and Social Science
  • Passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory
